Jouvert Information & Tips

Get ready for an unforgettable experience with Red Antz Miami at Miami Broward Carnival! Please review the important information below to ensure a safe and enjoyable J’ouvert.

Entry Requirements

• All participants must have a valid Miami Broward Carnival ticket to enter the event. This is included in your Red Antz Package.
• Red Antz is Band #3 in the parade, so arrive early to get settled and ready to move!

Breakfast

• A complimentary breakfast will be served from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM.
• Be sure to bring your Breakfast Voucher included in your package.

Wristbands & Apparel

• All revelers must wear their Red Antz Miami wristband securely on their wrist.
• The Red Antz apparel included in your package is also required to be worn to participate.
• No outsiders will be allowed into the band – no exceptions.

Security & Safety

• Security, staff, and road managers will be clearly identified by marked shirts.
• If you encounter any issues, report them immediately to a team member.

For your safety:

• Do not hang on, climb, or sit on trucks or trusses.
• Stay clear of the truck wheels, especially during turns.

Strict Rules

• Do NOT share drinks or paint with non-band members.
  Anyone caught doing so will be removed from the band and blacklisted from future events.
• Only use paint and powder provided by Red Antz.
  No outside paint, mud, engine oil, or similar substances will be allowed in the band.

Drinks Trucks

• There will be three (3) Drinks Trucks labeled: Yellow, Pink, and Green.
• Your wristband color determines which truck you are assigned to.
• Bars will close briefly twice during the day for cleaning and restocking.

Personal Belongings

• Leave valuables at home – we are not responsible for any lost or stolen items.

Health & Hydration

• The South Florida sun is intense, and dehydration is common.
  Drink lots of water throughout the day.
• If you’re drinking alcohol, pace yourself.
  It’s fun to drink in the streets, but avoid getting overly intoxicated.

Respect the Vibes

• This is J’ouvert – expect to get splashed with paint, powder, and water!
• Enjoy the freedom and fun, but always respect fellow revelers – especially their faces and personal space.
• Let’s bring that island energy and good vibes only!
